Viasat Film Hits was launched in November 2015 to showcase the greatest movies, from film classics to popcorn favourites. Our brief was to produce a promo that would help establish the channel’s identity.
 
Truly great movies are full of iconic moments, images burnt into your consciousness for all time. We wanted to take these moments, and by shooting in super slow-motion, immerse the viewer in them for even longer. Viasat film Hits is all about reliving these iconic moments. 
 
As the concept developed we wanted to incorporate many different genres, with obvious nods to some movie classics like Rocky, A Clockwork Orange, American Beauty & The Shining. Once it was ready to shoot, we handed production over to the talented Paul Hammond and Sergey Saprygin.
